When Brad’s kidneys both failed in April, his wife donated one of hers and saved his life, reports WCVB. Even though Brad, 34, has a large family and even a fraternal twin, his wife was his perfect match.
“God wants me to be the one,’’ she told WCVB.
The transplant surgery took place last week and the pair, who are parents to a 9- and 2-year-old, are recovering at their Plymouth home. Friends have set up a GoFundMe account to help with the couple’s medical expenses.
