Worcester firefighters extinguished a car fire late Wednesday night and discovered a body inside, reports the Worcester Telegram & Gazette.

The car fire happened on Swan Avenue. The car was found on the side of a dirt road by the woods behind Washington Heights, according to the newspaper. Deputy Chief John Sullivan confirmed the discovery to the Telegram late Wednesday night. The incident is under investigation.
