Adopt an adult cat for free at the MSPCA this weekend

Save $150 when you adopt a cat that is more than 1 year old.

Dallas is a 3-year-old male cat looking for a home.

Are you thinking of adding a furry friend to your household?

The MSPCA is making it more affordable to adopt a cat this weekend by waiving its $150 adoption fee on all adult cats.

The “Fall in Love’’ cat adoptathon is an effort to find homes for adult cats only — cats that are more than 1 year old.

The adoptathon will take place Nov. 7 and 8 during regular shelter hours. All cats will be spayed or neutered and receive a microchip, new collar, and ID tags prior to adoption.

Adult cats make good pets because they are more relaxed and less mischievous than younger cats, according to the MSPCA.
