The arrest and seizure came on the heels of a six-week investigation.

Police said there was $40,000 of heroin, two bricks of cocaine, individually packaged bags of cocaine, Percocets, marijuana, and scales at his home. That amount of heroin translates to about 2,750 individual doses of the drug, according to police.

Soto Perez refused bail and is being held at the Hillsborough County House of Corrections. His arraignment was Tuesday.

Citing Soto Perez’s lengthy criminal history, the judge set bail at $40,000, which is double what the prosecutors asked for, reported WMUR. He will be back in court Nov. 16 for a probable cause hearing. As part of his bail conditions, he cannot post bail without a hearing to determine the source of the money used. He also cannot be released without proving his identity to police, reported WMUR.
