Police say a drunk man stole a mannequin’s clothes
The “highly intoxicated’’ West Yarmouth man was charged with larceny from a building.
A mannequin was left shirtless after a “highly intoxicated’’ West Yarmouth man entered a motel, snatched its clothes, and fled on foot, according to Yarmouth police.
Mott Arnold III was charged with larceny from a building.
The theft happened Friday night at the Cape Point motel on Route 28 in West Yarmouth, police said. Mott Arnold III, 23, of West Yarmouth, allegedly entered the lobby of the motel and stole a motel T-shirt off a mannequin before running away. Motel workers alerted the Yarmouth Police Department, who found Arnold in the area and arrested him for larceny from a building, according to police.

Arnold is scheduled to be arraigned Monday in Barnstable District Court.
