Boston Marathon bombing survivor pulls off epic Lt. Dan costume
Some people are just better suited to some Halloween costumes than others.
Boston Marathon bombing survivor and amputee Rebekah Gregory decided to play up her unique situation by dressing up as Lieutenant Dan, the Vietnam soldier-turned-double amputee who Forrest Gump encounters during his travels.
Gregory nailed it, with a scraggly goatee, camo pants and what appeared to be an adult beverage in a brown paper bag. She had her own Forrest, too.
Gregory hasn’t shied away from amputee humor before. In one August post, she channeled A Christmas Story with some leg lamp decor.
