A massive indoor ropes course is going up at the new Jordan’s Furniture
Jordan’s Furniture is giving shoppers a unique reason to visit its soon-to-open store in New Haven, Connecticut.
The Taunton company is building what it calls “the largest indoor adventure ropes course in the world’’ at the store that’s scheduled to open Dec. 11, according to The Boston Globe.
Jordan’s is calling it the IT Adventure Ropes Course and said it will include two 60-foot-tall ropes courses with swinging beams, rope ladders, bridges, planks, and a 48-foot “free fall’’ jump. The store also will feature four 200-foot zip lines set 48 feet above the ground and over a water show, with lights and sounds created by Clair Solutions, whose clients have included the Grand Ole Oprey in Nashville and Radio City Music Hall in New York.
