A Maine woman was arrested, charged with trafficking 300 bundles of heroin in Bolton

A Maine women was arrested and charged with trafficking heroin Thursday morning in Bolton, according to Massachusetts State Police.

Holly Grant, 39, of Palermo, Maine, has been charged with speeding, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, distribution of a Class A substance (heroin), and trafficking in heroin, police said.

A state trooper pulled Grant over for speeding on Route 495 around 10:40 a.m. Thursday, police said. The trooper said he determined that she did not have a driver’s license, according to police. Upon further investigation that included a search of her car, police said they found 300 bundles of a substance that appeared to be heroin.

Grant was arrested and held on $25,000 bail, police said.
