“He was such a great kid. He had such a heart of gold,’’ said his dad.
A 9-year-old boy collapsed and died while walking through his Sandown, N.H. neighborhood to bring cookies to a friend.
Police do not yet know the cause of Christopher Chester’s collapse Friday night, The Boston Globe reported.

Christopher Chester was a fourth grader.
“I had to say goodbye to my best friend,’’ said William Chester, the boy’s father, on a GoFundMe page created to raise money for the family. “This is the hardest thing I have ever had to do. This is the saddest day of my life. He was such a great kid. He had such a heart of gold.’’
So far, more than $24,000 has been raised. Christopher, a fourth grader at Sandown North Elementary School, was walking with his dad when he was stricken.
