On Sunday, Coast Guard members joined locals in Rockland, Maine and put a wreath out to sea as a tribute to the missing crew of the cargo ship El Faro.

Officials believe the ship sank October 1 with 33 people on board when its engine failed and it was caught in the path of Hurricane Joaquin.

The U.S. Coast Guard called off its search for the missing mariners on October 7.

Rockland was the home of two members of El Faro’s crew, Danielle Randolph and Dylan Meklin.
