Norwood police celebrate ‘Back to the Future II’ with hoax unit
It looks like the Norwood Police Department is a fan of Back to the Future.
The department took to Facebook Wednesday to announce their new “Hover Board Unit.’’
“It’s only appropriate that we make the announcement today, Oct 21st 2015,’’ the department wrote. “It is, after all, the day that Marty McFly traveled to in ‘Back to the Future Part II’ to save his children.’’
Police credited the hoax photo idea to the Mount Isa Police Department in Queensland, Australia. They said the “terrible Photoshop efforts,’’ however, was their own doing.
