Hiker reported missing in New Hampshire
A Westwood woman was reported missing after she did not return from a five-day hike in the White Mountain National Forest in New Hampshire, the state Fish and Game Department reported.
Claire Marie Cocuzzo had planned to hike from Mount Garfield Trailhead to Bond Cliff and back, about 26 miles total, from Oct. 5-10. A family member reported her missing when she did not return home.
Cocuzzo is 64 years old, with gray hair and brown eyes. She is 5-foot-2 and weighs 120 pounds.
The fish and game department is requesting anyone with information regarding her whereabouts, especially people who may have interacted with her along the trail, to call the department at 603-271-3361.
