Man found dead in the Charles River
Massachusetts State Police are investigating the death of man whose body was found in the Charles River Monday.
Police recovered his body from the Boston side of the Charles River around 1:10 p.m. Monday, a state police spokesman told Boston.com. The identity of the man, who was found near the Boston University sailing pavilion, is unknown, but investigators believe he was in his 40s, according to the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office.
Authorities were unable to determine a cause of death in a preliminary examination. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will now attempt to determine the manner of his death, according to DA’s office.
