Police release video of suspect in Dorchester armed robberies

Boston police are investigating four armed robberies that occurred within a 20-minute window in Dorchester.

On September 27, police responded to four reports of armed robberies between 10 p.m. and 10:20 p.m. in the areas of Ditson and Leroy Streets and 33 Ridgewood St, according to police. Victims in each of the incidents provided a similar suspect description, saying they were approached by a black man with braided hair. They said he was between 5-foot-10 and 6-foot-2 and wore a red shirt and khakis.

The suspect demanded money and threatened to stab the victims, according to police.
