The city of Medford will hold an open public hearing Oct. 15 to discuss allegations of wrongdoing by Medford Detective Stephen LeBert.

LeBert was placed on administrative leave in July because he was caught on video threatening to “blow a hole’’ through a driver’s head. The 31-year veteran of the department had pulled the driver over while off duty.

Police have completed a 39-page investigative report on the matter, which will be included in the hearing documents. Witnesses scheduled to appear include Malden resident Michael Coates and Medford Police Officer Christopher Coughlin, reports The Medford Transcript.

The hearing will begin at 10 a.m. at Medford City Hall.
