State police cruiser struck while transporting prisoner
A Massachusetts State Police cruiser was struck by another vehicle early Wednesday morning at Columbia Circle in Dorchester.
According to police, the cruiser was being used to transport a prisoner when it was struck at about 2:30 a.m.
That prisoner was transported to Boston Medical Center for evaluation for possible minor injuries, according to state police.
Police said the female diver of the other vehicle had a suspended license and will be cited.
Neither the trooper nor the other driver were injured.
