Missing Massachusetts woman found dead in New Hampshire
The missing Reading woman, whose car was found in Londonderry, New Hampshire with a body inside Tuesday, has been confirmed dead by the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office.
Dorothy Brownsberger, 48, had previously been reported missing, with police asking the public to look for her car, a 2007 yellow Hummer.
“Our thoughts now turn to her family and friends in this difficult time,’’ Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan said in a statement. “This is no longer considered a criminal investigation.’’
According to the Eagle-Tribune, a yellow Hummer with a body inside was found in Londonderry on Tuesday morning. The car’s plate numbers were matched to Brownsberger.
“We would like to thank the Reading Police Department, the Massachusetts State Police, the Londonderry Police Department, and the public for their efforts to help locate Mrs. Brownsberger,’’ said Ryan.
The Eagle-Tribune’s Doug Ireland posted a photo of the vehicle.
