Heating oil prices are way down this year
This unseasonably warm September? It’s a mirage. Boston doesn’t get to skip winter because we had it so hard last year.
There is some good news about those short, dark days, however. Heating oil costs are sinking like a stone ahead of the cold weather, according to The Boston Globe. “For most households, 800 to a thousand bucks is a big deal,’’ economist Alan Clayton-Matthews told the Globe. “It will free up money for households to spend on other things.’’
Say that again.
