According to the Cape Cod Chamber of Commerce, travel times to avoid during peak season include 2 to 9 p.m. on Fridays and 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays. With the July 3 holiday, you can probably apply the Friday advice to today.
In other words, if you plan on heading to the Cape and you haven’t left yet, maybe consider getting up real early tomorrow. Like, before-the-sun-rises early.
