No, In-N-Out Burger isn’t coming to Medford, Massachusetts

That Facebook photo your friends have been sharing – the one of the delicious In-N-Out cheeseburger, possibly animal style, with a side of fries that proclaims:
“In-N-Out Burger has officially bought a building permit in Medford and has started breaking ground as of Monday. It could open as early as September 2015.’’

It’s not true—well , at least not for Medford, Massachusetts.
Turns out there is more than one Medford in the United States (we know, who knew?), and despite the hundreds of “Likes’’ and “Shares’’ on the post from Bay Staters, this In-N-Out is opening in Oregon.
