Mayor Walsh and Governor Baker Pose With Giant, Boston Marathon-Themed Phone
Huge news, literally: AT&T, in collaboration with the Boston Athletic Association, unveiled the first Boston Marathon phone case. And Gov. Charlie Baker and Mayor Marty Walsh could not be more pumped to be standing next to what looks like a giant’s cell phone.
Proceeds from the sales will go to the Boston Athletic Association’s youth running initiatives, the Red Sox Foundation, and Massachusetts General Hospital’s Home Base Program, a charity that benefits local veterans.
But the real story here is this massive cell phone. It’ll look nice next to the giant pair of scissors used to cut ribbons, and it’ll fit in the huge purse that also holds the gargantuan keys to the city.
Turns out everything is bigger when you’re a top city official.
