Billboards to Replace Landmark Gun Violence Sign on Mass. Turnpike
The sign is about to disappear, but the message will still be seen by commuters every day.
The landmark anti-gun violence billboard near Fenway Park is about to come down after two decades, according to a Boston Globe report.
That sign is affixed to a Landsdowne Street parking garage formerly owned by John Rosenthal, founder and president of the nonprofit group Stop Handgun Violence.
Thanks to donated billboard space, new signs featuring the group’s message will be going up at three dozen locations statewide.
