Man Charged with 4th OUI After McDonald’s Drive-Thru Crash

A Franklin man was arraigned on his fourth impaired-driving charge Wednesday after authorities say he, while high on heroin, crashed into another car in a McDonald’s drive-thru.

Dominick Revell, 43, rear-ended the car in front of him, causing minor damage, Tuesday night at the McDonald’s on the American Legion Highway in Roslindale, according to the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office.

When Boston Police arrived at 8:50 p.m., they found Revell passed out behind the wheel of his Ford F-550 pickup, authorities said. Revell allegedly tried to hit the gas when officers woke him up, but he was out of gear.

Officers found a crack pipe, a glass jar of crack cocaine, and baggies of heroin and crack cocaine in the truck, according to authorities.

Revell was arraigned in West Roxbury Municipal Court on charges of operating under the influence (fourth offense), possession of a Class A substance, possession of a Class B substance, and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. He was released on $500 bail.

Revell was convicted of two counts of operating under the influence in 2002 and one count of the same charge in 2003.
