One Dead, Another Injured in Hyde Park Shooting

One person was killed and another was seriously injured in a shooting early Sunday morning in Hyde Park, according to Boston Police. Police responded to the call around 4 a.m. and discovered a male victim in his 20s with multiple gunshot wounds outside 23 Lincoln Street. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the police statement.
Officers were informed that a witness transported a second male victim from the shooting with life-threatening gunshot wounds to Milton Hospital. Police said the second victim was later transported to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center for further treatment. The victims have not yet been identified, and the incident is under investigation by the Boston Police Homicide Unit.
