A 20-year-old Braintree man was arraigned Friday morning in Boston Municipal Court in connection with Wednesday night’s stabbing at the Boston Celtics game at TD Garden, according to the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office. Brandon Jones is facing a charge of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and is being held on $50,000 cash bail in this case, authorities said. He was arrested Thursday afternoon in Braintree.

Police responded to a report of the stabbing inside the Garden at about 9:45 p.m. on Wednesday, according to a police statement. Police found a man in his early 20s with what “appeared to be a stab wound.’’ He was transported to Massachusetts General Hospital, with what police described as “non-life-threatening injuries.’’

According to reports, the stabbing took place in the arena’s balcony. Deadspin posted a reader’s video Thursday morning that appeared to show the confrontation that took place before the stabbing. According to Deadspin, the video was sent to them as an anonymous tip.

Jones’ alias is “Baby Gangsta,’’ according to his booking sheet, tweeted by WBZ’s Susie Steimle.

Bail for Jones on two other unrelated cases in Quincy District Court was revoked, and he was held without bail pending the outcome of a surrender hearing in a third case, also out of Quincy, according to authorities.
