St. Patrick’s Day Parade Might Not Happen as Planned
In case you don’t hate those heaping mounds of dirty snow enough, they could be getting in the way of something other than hydrants, street corners, and driveways: South Boston’s famous St. Patrick’s Day parade, according to The Boston Globe.
The parade may be postponed or rerouted if the snow piles currently overwhelming its typical South Boston route don’t melt enough in time for its scheduled March 15 date. Next week, Mayor Marty Walsh and City Council President Bill Linehan will meet with parade organizers to see what, if anything, can be done to allow the annual event to continue as planned.
