Parking Ban Will Lift on Wednesday
Boston’s snow emergency parking ban will lift at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Mayor Marty Walsh announced on Tuesday.
In a press release, the mayor’s office said the Public Works Department will continue to remove snow along the main arteries overnight, allowing them to be clear enough for parking by Wednesday evening.
The office also said that roads are being “proactively survey[ed]’’ for potholes and other weather-related damage as the city devises a plan to fix the potholes that will surely result from the 168,231 total hours of plowing it has done thus far since the winter began.
