Firefighters Remove Person Stuck Under Park Street Train

Boston firefighters removed a person stuck under a Red Line train at Park Street station Saturday afternoon.

The condition of the victim was not immediately available. The department’s Twitter account reported the incident just before 4 p.m.

Shuttle buses will replace Red Line service from Broadway to Park Street and Kendall to Lechmere (at Lechmere, riders can then take the Green Line to Park Street), according to the MBTA. The MBTA is asking riders to use Green Line service at Park Street station until regular Red Line service resumes.

We’ll update this story with more information as it becomes available.
