Bourne Shooting Victims Identified

Officials have identified the victims in Thursday’s shooting in Bourne that left one person dead and two injured.

Coast Guardsman Adrian Loya is charged with murder and seven other counts after allegedly killing fellow Coast Guard member Lisa Trubnikova. He is also charged with shooting and injuring Coast Guard member Anna Trubnikova and Bourne Police officer Jared MacDonald, according to a statement released by District Attorney Michael O’Keefe’s office.

Anna Trubnikova and Officer MacDonald remain hospitalized, authorities said.

The Boston Globe reported that police believe Loya had traveled from his duty station in Virginia to Bourne because of a previous disagreement with at least one of the women. Lisa Trubnikova was stationed at Joint Base Cape Cod and Anna Trubnikova was stationed at Woods Hole, Massachusetts.
