Khairullozhon Matanov, a friend of accused Boston Marathon bombers Dzhokhar and Tamerlan Tsarnaev, who is accused of lying to investigators, is expected to change his plea to guilty.

Matanov, a legal immigrant from Krygyzstan and a Quincy cab driver, allegedly met with the Tsarnaev brothers for dinner after the bombings, and prosecutors say he lied to authorities about that and other meetings with the brothers. Prosecutors also say he deleted files and videos from his computer and phone in the days after the bombing.

Matanov was charged with lying to investigators and destroying evidence in May 2014. He previously pled not guilty to the charges, and a court date had been set for June 2015.
