Man Charged in North Andover Triple Homicide

A North Andover man has been charged with murder after three elderly men were found dead inside a housing complex in that town Tuesday morning, Essex District Attorney Jonathan Blodgett said at a press conference.

Salvatore Guglielmino, 57, is expected to be arraigned Wednesday in Lawrence District Court.

Just after 9 a.m. Tuesday, North Andover police received a call requesting medical assistance for a man found lying face down at 10 Foulds Terrace, a housing development for the elderly and disabled.

When police arrived, they discovered Walter Hamilton, 78, George Kettinger, Jr., 79, and a third man who was identified on January 7 as Francis Kort, 68. The three men, all pronounced dead at the scene, were each found in their apartments.

A medical examiner will determine the time and manner of death, but Blodgett said that they all suffered blunt force trauma, mostly to the facial area.

Blodgett said Guglielmino lives in the same building as the victims. The motive for the murders is not currently known.
