Burlington Police Seek Suspect in Overnight Armed Robbery

Burlington Police Department

Burlington Police are asking for the public’s help in tracking down the man who they say on Friday night took cash at gunpoint from a convenience store located on Winn Street near the Woburn line.

Just before 9:30 p.m., police responded to the One Stop store, where the clerk told them that a heavy-set man between 6’1’’ and 6’3’’ came into the store and brandished a black handgun. The suspect was wearing a white hooded zip-up vest over a black jacket, blue gloves, a green face mask and gray New Balance sneakers.

The suspect took an undisclosed amount of cash before leaving, according to police. The K-9 unit lost his scent somewhere on Mountain Road, westbound. Police believe he entered a vehicle on that road, though it is unknown whether it was parked or if there was a getaway driver waiting for him.
