Judge Rules Logan ‘Naked Man’ Can’t Go Home for Christmas

The 26-year-old man who allegedly went on a naked rampage through Logan Airport last month will not be allowed to return home for the holidays, a judge ruled on Tuesday.

Lawyers for Cameron Shenk, the defendant, asked that he be allowed to return to Utah to visit family for Christmas. Prosecutors objected on the grounds that remaining on house arrest was a condition for his release, and the court sided with prosecutors. He has remained in Boston living with his father since his arrest.

Shenk, a financial planner and economics student at Harvard Extension School was arraigned on November 22 after he allegedly took off his clothes, climbed into the ceiling of a women’s bathroom at Logan, and then fell through the drop ceiling. Prosecutors say he then assaulted an 84-year-old man and got into a skirmish with police before being subdued.

He was arraigned on charges of attempted murder, assault and battery on a person over 60, and lewd and lascivious conduct. Shenk’s next court date is scheduled for January 29.
