Elizabeth Warren — US Senator from Massachusetts, former Harvard Law School professor, and perpetual denier of presidential desires — can add one more title to her resume: Grammy Award nominee.

Yes, Warren was nominated for a Grammy in the Best Spoken-Word Album category for her audiobook ‘A Fighting Chance.’ The memoir, which mixes Warren’s personal story with criticisms of a “rigged’’ financial system, was released in April and sat near the top of the New York Times bestseller’s list for months.

Warren will go up against a tough crowd in the category, including former President Jimmy Carter, James Franco, and Joan Rivers.

On Twitter, Warren said she was “tickled’’ by the honor.

Want to hear what a Grammy-nominated voice sounds like? You’re in luck, as Warren read from her book at a WGBH forum earlier this year. The crooning begins at 2:45.
