2 Mass. Cop Tweets Went 2 Very Different Ways About Ferguson
On Monday night, the entire nation focused on Ferguson, Missouri as a grand jury’s decision led to tear gas, fires, and smashed windows from some in the crowds in the midwest city’s streets.
Closer to home, two Massachusetts law enforcement-related Twitter accounts sent to very different messages.
The Suffolk County Sheriff’s Union sent their love to Darren Wilson:
Wishing all of @FPD_PUBLIC_INFO a safe night, best wishes to Off Wilson in his future endeavors and moving forward from this stressful time.
While Massachusetts State Police Trooper and social media specialist Dustin Fitch prayed for peace for everyone in Ferguson:
My thoughts go out to everyone in #Ferguson tonight. #Peace is the answer. Violence will not solve anything. #PrayingForPeaceInFerguson
