Person Struck By Orange Line Train, Sustains Non Life-Threatening Injuries
A woman in her 20s fell in front of an incoming Orange Line train near the Massachusetts Avenue Train Station today, according to the Massachusetts Transit Police. Emergency responders and police freed the woman, who sustained non life-threatening injuries.
She has since been taken to an area hospital.
Power to the Orange Line train was cut off while crews worked to free the female. That service has now been restored.
The cause for the incident remains unclear.
