Man Arrested For Alleged Fourth OUI After Fatal Hyde Park Crash
A man is under arrest for an alleged fourth OUI after a fatal accident in Hyde Park early Saturday morning.
Police said Jeffrey Mason, 42, of Walpole was traveling around 2:30 a.m. on the Enneking Parkway when he lost control of the vehicle, causing it to rollover near the intersection of Turtle Pond Parkway.
His female passenger was declared dead at the scene. Her identity has not yet been released by authorities.
Mason was arrested and charged with speeding, marked lanes violation, a fourth OUI liquor offense, reckless vehicular homicide, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and leaving the scene of personal injury. Police continue to investigate the circumstances of the crash.
