Police Find Dorchester Murder Suspect Dead
The manhunt for the suspect in a fatal Dorchester shooting is over Sunday morning after authorities reportedly found the man dead.
Boston Police issued a statewide alert Saturday for Paulo Rosa, 30, of Dorchester, after identifying the man as a suspect in the murder of his girlfriend. She has not yet been identified by police.
Commissioner William Evans told the Boston Globe the couple’s young son was also found at the scene, unharmed.
WCVB reports that Rosa was discovered dead about 500 feet in the woods near Route 195 by the Rehoboth/Swansea line.
Investigators have not yet released a cause of death for either Rosa or his alleged victim.
