It Was Still Halloween at Tom Menino’s House
For most of Boston, Tom Menino was a giant. But for kids in Readville, the former mayor, who passed away on Thursday, was something else. He was the guy who gave out the best candy on Halloween.
Menino’s love for the holiday was well known, and his friends and family kept up the tradition Friday night, handing out candy to the costumed short set that made its way down Chesterfield Street.
