Girl Struck and Killed by MBTA Commuter Rail Train in Lawrence
Authorities are investigating the death of a 13-year-old girl who was struck and killed by a commuter rail train in Lawrence Friday afternoon.
Police said they received a call around 4:15 p.m., and found the victim near Inman Street. She has not yet been publicly identified.
Detectives from the MBTA Transit Police and investigators from the Essex County District Attorney’s office continue to piece together details from the scene.
