Antonio Rivera, the man wanted in the second of two unrelated deadly shootings that took place this weekend in Chelsea, turned himself in to police Wednesday, NECN reports.

Rivera, 23, of East Boston, is accused of killing Juan Carlos Rodriguez, 36, following an argument at the French Naturalization Club on Spencer Avenue around 1:20 a.m. Saturday. Rodriguez, whom Rivera allegedly shot in the torso, was pronounced dead after being transported to Massachusetts General Hospital.

Rivera was arraigned Thursday on charges of murder and illegal possession of a firearm at Chelsea District Court, where Judge Matthew Nestor ordered him held without bail. Nestor also ordered Rivera to be held for violating his probation for a May drug conviction, according to the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office.

Rodriguez was shot about 80 minutes after Katerin Gomez, 35, was killed in an unrelated shooting in Chelsea. Gomez, who authorities say was not the intended target, was struck and killed by a stray bullet while standing at the window of her Shawmut Avenue home.

Hector Ramires, 20, who allegedly fired the shot during a confrontation with a group of people outside Gomez’s home, has been charged with murder. Ramires, who was arraigned on Tuesday, is also being held without bail.
