Woman Killed in Early Morning Route 128 Crash in Woburn
A woman was killed Monday morning when the SUV she was driving went off the road and struck a parked construction vehicle, according to Massachusetts State Police.
The accident happened at approximately 5:15 a.m. on the ramp from Route 128 South to Route 38 in Woburn.
According to police, the driver of the 2006 Toyota RAV4, a 37-year-old Lowell woman, was pronounced dead at the scene. Police said she was the vehicle’s only occupant.
Her name has not been released.
The accident is under investigation.
