Car Mangled After Colliding with Commuter Rail Train
A commuter rail train collided into a car in Acton Monday night, leaving the vehicle in a twisted heap. The driver sustained non-life threatening injuries, according to Massachusetts State Police Trooper Dustin Fitch.
An MBTA service alert listed “significant delays’’ on the Fitchburg Line between South Acton and North Station.
State Police released photos from the crash showing a mangled red car resting on its roof.
