Woman Struck by Train in Beverly
A woman was struck by a commuter rail train Monday morning at the Beverly Depot station, Beverly Police told Boston.com.
“Witnesses stated that the 55 year old female was attempting to cross in front of the train prior to being struck,’’ according to Beverly Police.
MBTA Transit Police Lieutenant Richard Sullivan told Boston.com the woman was transported to Beverly Hospital with a head injury. She is expected to survive. Sullivan said.
