Nitrogen Leak Stopped After Boston Buildings Evacuated
A research facility on Huntington Avenue was among three buildings evacuated this morning after the Boston Fire Department responded to a nitrogen leak, which has now been stopped.
According to the Boston Fire Department, there are two 3,000 pound nitrogen tanks outside of the rear of the three buildings.
A pressure relief valve on one of those tanks let go, releasing nitrogen into the atmosphere, according to the department.
