‘Heisenberg’ Relives 2 Great Red Sox Moments
At least the Red Sox made the MLB postseason commercial.
Two iconic Red Sox moments and a Pedro Martinez cameo are featured in a TBS baseball postseason video making the rounds online. The video features Bryan Cranston of “Breaking Bad’’ fame reliving baseball’s great postseason moments in a poorly thought-out one-man show.
The spot’s a little too long, but it does draw some chuckles if you can remember the moments Cranston performs, like Carlton Fisk waving the ball fair and Kirk Gibson hobbling around the base paths after hitting his walk-off home run for the Dodgers.
Because everybody loves Bryan Cranston, and because the Red Sox aren’t heading back to the playoffs this year, we took a look at Cranston’s Red Sox performances and compared them to the real events. Did Cranston get them right?

Cranston doesn’t quite match the David Ortiz home run as well as he pulled off Fisk, but the little cardboard cutout of Officer Steve Horgan makes up for it:
