Police Release Photos of Northeastern Assault Suspect
Boston Police released two photos of a man they believe attacked a woman early Thursday morning.
A Northeastern University female student told police she was attacked early Thursday morning while walking on Huntington Avenue, Northeastern police said.
The student told police an assailant grabbed her by her neck and attempted to drag her down an alley next to 578 Huntington Ave., near the Wentworth Institute of Technology. She began to scream, which brought nearby security officers to the scene and caused the suspect to flee.
The suspect was described by the student as a “black male in his 20s, 6’2’’, 180lbs, clean shaven, with a slim/muscular build, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, and dark sweatpants,’’ according to an alert sent to Northeastern students at 8:30 this morning. Both Northeastern and Boston Police are investigating the incident.
