Video: Market Basket Back in Business

Market Basket headquarters is back to work today after a deal to sell to Arthur T. Demoulas was finalized.

Arthur T. arrived at the Tewksbury headquarters this morning the cheers by supportive employees who fought for weeks for him. Demoulas expressed his gratitude for all the employees’ and customers’ support.

Employees and vendors at the Chelsea Market Basket are happy to be back to work. Associates are quickly stocking the shelves and say the store will be ready within a day or two.

While the Chelsea store thinks they’ll be ready in a couple days, Market Basket employees at Andover warehouse say it could be over a week before stores fully stocked. The Andover warehouse is excited to have Arthur T. back.
