Resident Burned, Cats Saved from 2-Alarm Roxbury Fire
A Roxbury resident was treated by Boston EMS and taken to a local hospital for burns he received during a Tuesday night fire on Greenville Street. A firefighter injured his knee at the scene and required treatment, according to the Boston Fire Department.
Firefighters were also able to successfully revive two cats suffering from smoke inhalation during the two-alarm blaze inside the first floor of the three-story brock building.

The fire caused an estimated $100,000 in damage, according to the department. Investigators were on the scene late Tuesday night. Nine people were displaced by the fire.
