Can’t Make the Pops Fireworks on July 3? Relive the Glory from Previous Years

Fireworks over the Charles River Esplanade for the Fourth of July in 1987. The Boston Globe

While many people feel watching a fireworks display is sharing a communal experience and patriotic act, others look at the explosions and think, “This is the same thing every year.’’
